Head Swim Coach: Zach Brech

​The Manorlu Megaducks welcomed Zach Brech as the new head swimming coach for the 2021 summer season. Zach began his swimming career as a Manorlu Megaduck where his spark for swimming was first ignited. Zach attended Upper Dublin High School and was a multi-event qualifier for the PIAA District One Championship Meet and PIAA State Championship Meet.

Zach attended Towson University and studied Business Administration with a focus on Marketing. While at Towson, Zach was a member of the men’s swim team.His collegiate swimming accolades consist of swimming the fourth fastest 50 yard freestyle in the program’s history, being a member of the record setting 400-yard freestyle relay team, and consistently placing in the Colonial Athletic Association Championship Meet.

 

After graduation, Zach began his coaching career as an age group coach for Loyola Blakefield Aquatics (LBA) which is located in Maryland. Zach spent two years as a member of the LBA coaching staff.

 

In August 2020, Zach returned to Pennsylvania and joined the Upper Dublin Aquatic Club (UDAC) as one of their age group coaches. Zach currently works with UDAC’s junior training groups.
